I once met someone at a MEYAME exhibition whose styling and use of color in accessories were so wonderful that I had to ask about them. To my surprise, it was HUE designer Iida herself.

We also place great importance on color in our own garment making, and I felt a strong sense of affinity with her. When I learned that her brand concept was "wearing color and playing with color," I was completely sold. After buying one of her necklaces, the feeling that "I want to feature this at the MEYAME STORE" began to grow within me.

HUE’s true strength lies in combining antique and vintage parts with modern elements to create a contemporary finish.

With that in mind, after many meetings, we created the bespoke vintage beads choker and the misanga heart bracelet.
Both look great worn on their own, but I also recommend layering them. Both are available in red, which is a signature brand color for MEYAME.

⁡For the vintage beads choker, I had the metal fittings changed to silver 925 to match the necklace I use.

Lastly, HUE is pronounced "Hew." I think the sound is quite lovely too.

【Item Details】

We had HUE create a special bespoke version of their signature "VINTAGE BEADS CHOKER" for MEYAME.

This lightweight choker-style necklace uses rice-shaped Japanese vintage glass beads.

These glass beads are made from old Japanese materials that were originally produced for export and have since been re-imported.

The delicate, slender, and beautifully colored beads blend well with the skin, providing just the right amount of accent.

Small seed beads are placed between the rice beads.
These are also antique or vintage.

For the MEYAME bespoke version, the metal fittings have been changed to silver 925.
