At a MEYAME exhibition, I noticed someone with such wonderful styling and a great use of color in her accessories that I just had to ask her about them—it turned out to be the HUE designer herself, Ms. Iida.

We also place great importance on color in our own clothing design, so I felt an immediate sense of kinship. When I heard about her concept, "wearing color and playing with color," it was like a final confirmation for me. I bought a necklace from her later, and as I wore it, the urge to feature her work at the MEYAME STORE grew stronger and stronger.

HUE’s true strength lies in combining antique and vintage pieces with modern elements to create something contemporary.

With that in mind, after several discussions, we created our bespoke vintage beads choker and misanga heart bracelet. Both are beautiful on their own, but I also highly recommend wearing them layered. And of course, both are available in red, MEYAME's brand color.

For the misanga heart bracelet, we had them add 2cm to the standard length, included an adjuster, and used silver 925 for the hardware.⁡

Finally, HUE is pronounced "hyoo." I think the sound of it is just lovely.

【Item Details】

We asked for a MEYAME bespoke version of HUE’s signature "Misanga heart bracelet."

A short bracelet designed to fit snugly against the wrist like a misanga.

It is primarily made with vividly colored antique and vintage seed beads, and features three small mother-of-pearl hearts.

For the MEYAME bespoke model, we had the hardware changed to silver 925, added a 2cm adjuster chain for length, and included a heart-shaped end piece.
