The other day, I visited the quiet space tool and furniture workshop in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture . Kakkun and Asachan, a married couple, make wooden furniture and miscellaneous goods, and also remake old clothes to resemble their own uniforms.

I'm from Okaya city near Matsumoto, and I've known Kakkun for a while. I met Asachan about two years ago when quiet was holding an event in Tokyo.
I remember that their appearance and balance were very appealing.

The moment I entered the workshop, I was enveloped in the lovely scent of wood, which made me feel happy. It was a lovely and warm space, with swings, skateboards, headphones and other things that are unique to the two of them adding colour to the equipment and tools, and we had a lot of conversation, including about the fact that we will be expanding into MEYAME STORE from next spring.

Once again, I was completely captivated by the two of them.
